They exchange a warm glance and a smile. They hold hands, enjoying being close. Anna and Gwil live thousands of miles apart, Edinburgh to Florida. They will close that gap when they marry at the end of the year. For the meantime they catch up on laughter.
The weather was a little changeable, but that wasn’t holding us back. With their passion for the outdoors, we headed up Blackford Hill, breathtaking views of Edinburgh below. Among the long grasses and the hillsides, they shared secrets and dreams; wry jokes and more laughter.
The winds changed and the rain came with them, so we hopped on a bus across town to continue our shoot in the glasshouses of the Royal Botanic Gardens. I have never been so pleased that it was raining. The glasshouses are spectacular, intimate and although we only had a few minutes before closing time, those moments were magic.
